Raphael Radna is a composer, pianist, and electronic musician specializing in live electroacoustic music. His recent work uses interactive systems to establish a symbiosis between acoustic and electronic sound, integrating musical narrative with a holistic treatment of sonic resources.
Raphael holds a BA in Music from Vassar College, where he studied composition and electronic music with Peter McCulloch, and an MFA in Electronic Music and Recording Media from Mills College, where he studied electronic music with John Bischoff, Chris Brown, and Les Stuck; and composition with W.A. Mathieu. He has performed as a keyboardist and bass guitarist with The Depreciation Guild, Ice Choir, Light Asylum, and Kristin Kontrol. |
